Dr. Lu has 24 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, technology, and science fields, specializing in ULSI/VLSI circuit technology, electronic devices and materials, and solid-state physics. Dr. Lu was previously the president of Vanguard International Semiconductor Corp. He also worked as chief project director, and then as deputy general director, of ERSO/ITRI. Dr. Lu founded the first 8-inch Ultra-Clean Submicron Lab establishment in Taiwan, and worked as a project leader in AT&T Bell Labs, USA. Currently Dr. Lu is the chairman and CEO of Ardentec Corp., a leading-edge semiconductor testing company he founded in 1999. Dr. Lu holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Columbia University in New York. He has published 100 papers and holds 70 patents. Dr. Lu is an IEEE Fellow.
