George came from a mixed industry background of engineering, corporate management and entrepreneurship marketing. Prior to joining AsiaTech, George served in product management positions in Oracle USA responsible for globalization of the companyˇ¦s 200 enterprise applications. Prior to Oracle, he worked as an intern engineer in IBM, a video streaming codec lab, AltaVistaˇ¦s toolbar team and Electronic Artˇ¦s Need for Speed auto race game. George was also a junior management consultant in Harvard Management, the largest corporate management trainer in the Greater China circle, and involved in projects with top-10 high-tech companies in Taiwan.
George received his dual M.S. degrees in Management Science & Engineering and Electrical Engineering (Software Systems) from Stanford University. He also held a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from University of British Columbia. George was a young community leader in the Bay Area participating in activities such as founding a new youth wing for a major Silicon Valley Asian organization and serving as an affiliate development manager in a mainstream venture investment club. In 2004, George also led a team of Stanford alumni into the final round of Stanfordˇ¦s E-Challenge business plan competition.
