Joining AsiaTech in 2004 as a Principal, Elise brings in 8 yearsˇ¦ venture capital investment experience. She joins AsiaTech from Vertex Management, Inc. ˇV a global venture capital firm with over $1 billion under management ˇV where she served as an Investment Manager. Her investments covered the software, semiconductor, and networking spaces, and spanned across the US, Asia-Pacific, and European markets. At Vertex, Elise also headed the fund of fund investments ˇV a separate pool of $200 million that was under management. Prior to joining Vertex, Elise was a legal officer with the Singapore Technologies Industry Group, handling several joint-venture projects between Singapore and China including WuXi-Singapore Industry Park.
Elise holds a Bachelorˇ¦s of Economic Law degree from the Southwest University of Politic Science & Law in China, and an MBA from the University of Dubuque in Iowa. She also holds a Diploma from the Graduate Program of the US National Venture Capital Institute in Georgia. Elise is a co-founder and board member of the VC Chapter of the Hua-Yuan Science and Technology Association in the Silicon Valley. Elise led the investment in FutureDial and Kasenna.
