Louie comes to AsiaTech with years of experience in engineering and high-tech marketing. Prior to joining AsiaTech, Louie ran the e-Commerce software product line at Hewlett Packard, where he was in charge of the entire product life cycle in product definition, engineering development, beta program, and final product launch. Before HP, Louie held senior positions in marketing and engineering in companies including TIBCO, Lucent Technologies, Intuit, and Westinghouse Electric. He was also an associate at WGC Associates, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
As AsiaTech, Louie led the investment in CenterRun, Widcomm, IntruGuard, Stonewall, and Nanostellar.
Graduated from China¡¦s elite Tsinghua University in Beijing, Louie is an active supporter of the entrepreneurial activities in the Bay Area Chinese entrepreneur network. He currently serves as chairman and president of Silicon Valley Tsinghua Network (www.tsinghua.net ) with over 2,300 Tsinghua alumni members in the Bay Area; he is also a member of the Tsinghua Entrepreneur & Executive Club (www.teec.org.cn), an organization of around 40 alumni executives worldwide.
He also holds a BS from Tsinghua University, an MS from the Ohio State University, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School Of Business.
