AsiaTech Mangement was founded in 1997
by veteran investor, Katherine Jen. Katherine's venture investing
career began in the early 80s when she successfully led the
Taiwan Government's $3 billion Development Fund. The Development
Fund provided early-stage funding for some of Taiwan's most
successful high-tech companies, including TSMC and Mosel-Vitelic.
Inspired by these successes in venture investments, and through
her vision of creating value by matching innovative technologies
and entrepreneurs with market opportunities, Katherine founded
AsiaTech Management in Silicon Valley, and in early 1998, raised
its first fund, the ˇ§Silicon Valley Equity Fundˇ¨. Since then,
AsiaTech has a built a seasoned team of investment professionals
and industry insiders with operations in Silicon Valley and
Greater China. Collectively, our team includes investment bankers
who have led IPOs for over two dozen technology companies in
Greater China, and industry leaders who have direct executive
experience with leading technology companies across the Pacific.
In addition, AsiaTech has established a strong track record
through successful investments in high-tech companies, including:
NetScreen, Protego, CenterRun, WIDCOMM, NetLogic Microsystems,
Ardentech.
With the expanding globalization of the high-tech industry,
Silicon Valley and Greater China have become one integrated
community for technology and market opportunities. AsiaTech
has strong connections on both sides of the Pacific, and is
able to bridge the gap between innovative technology and low-cost

makers in top-tier companies to form strategic business relationships.
Our primary investment focus is early stage technology companies
in both Silicon Valley and Greater China. We look for entrepreneurs
